By using our Site, you consent to the terms of this Policy.
Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on all our web pages through a link in the footer and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested.
In short, we will not automatically opt users into our mailing list unless users specifically express an interest in joining such a list. No information we collect is used by or shared with any third parties unless it is needed to complete a transaction. In that case, the information is strictly used to complete such transactions and will not be used to contact you for any other reason. Our ordering process uses SSL technology to secure the transmission of personal and payment information to our server.
What is Personal Information?
Personal information specifically identifies an individual, such as an individual's name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, credit card or other account number, and information about that individual's activities when directly linked to him or her, such as information about his or her purchases.
Personal information does not include "aggregate" information. Aggregate information is data collected about a group or category of products, services or clients from which individual client identities have been removed. In other words, information about how you use a service may be collected and combined with information about how others use the same service, but no personal information will be included in the resulting data. Likewise, information about the products you purchase may be collected and combined with information about the products purchased by others. Aggregate data helps us understand trends and client needs so that we can better consider new products and services, and tailor existing products and services to client desires.
Where Personal Information Is Collected and How That Information is Used
Registration:
Our website may now or at any time in the future include one or more features that require registration in order to access such protected information or features. Registration for these features is optional and would merely be used to limit spammers and spam bots from accessing, posting to, and/or reading information on our site. Upon registration, users will be asked to provide a username, password, and valid email address. The username does not have to be the user's actual or real name but rather the screen name that the user wishes to use to log into a password protected area or feature of our website. Any such information collected will not be used for anything else and certainly will not be shared with any third parties. Providing an email address as part of registration will not constitute an opt-in to any mailing lists. Joining our mailing list will require users checking one or more checkboxes indicating their express desire to join such a list (see below). Upon registration, an automated email may be sent to the user in order for them to verify the validity of the email address they provided and thereby activating their account. The only other time users may be contacted by email is if either a) our privacy policy has changed, or b) if there is a notice or alert that pertains specifically to the feature or area of our site that users registered for in the first place.
Mailing List:
We encourage our users to sign up for (opt-in to) our mailing list. Joining our list requires that users complete a sign-up form or else specify they wish to join a list by clicking a checkbox and submit button. Users may opt in as a stand alone process or as part of the ordering process by clicking an opt-in checkbox. Check boxes that are part of the ordering process will not be checked on by default; users must click the checkbox to indicate they wish to opt-in.
In order to join our mailing list, we will require that users provide a valid email address. We may also ask users to provide additional information but all such additionally requested information is optional and not required in order to join our mailing list. Any such information will not be published for other users to see or utilized for anything other than to personalize the email content we send out and/or to filter whether or not that user receives an email. In other words, if a user provides their name then we may create a personalized sentence in an email that includes their name. Alternately, if a user provides their address then we may send a targeted email based on their city or state of residence.
Regardless what information a user decides to provide, no personally identifiable information we collect will be shared with any third parties.
As part of any communication from us, we will always include a way for the user to remove themselves from our list (opt-out). Users can click an "unsubscribe: link or button and follow the required steps to stop receiving emails from us. The unsubscribe process may require an email confirmation in order to prevent users from deleting accounts other than their own. Users can also opt-out by following a link inside their profile page (if they registered) and/or the sign-up pages and following the necessary steps to opt-out.
